Alex Vega is a Design Systems Craft Lead at Cisco

I'm Alex, a Craft Lead on the Design Systems team of Cisco IT at Cisco. My job is to evangelize, teach, and scale modern design system workflows at Cisco for the production and delivery of reliably stellar enterprise experiences.

Previously at Cisco, I worked on UX enhancements and future vision strategy for enterprise agreements and end-to-end product design for the CX Cloud platform and partner route-to-market solutions.

Before that, as a senior design consultant at Deloitte Digital, I led UX and UI design for mobile and web apps, design systems, responsive website designs, and SaaS products for clients including Marriott International, Cisco, AT&T, Bose, and Google. Before that, I co-founded and led design vision and strategy for two businesses, executed UX/UI design for a website development firm, and served as in-house creative for an online test preparation platform.

My methodology and approach stem from my traditional print graphic design education and work experience at a nonprofit design firm in New York City after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

I love dancing, playing the drums, and traveling.
